Riverside Trailers was established in May 2022. The owner, Eric Borman, took his knowledge of the construction field and building and expanded his corporation into not only construction, but trailer sales and repair. After many years of buying and using trailers, he felt as if he had a good grasp on what the local market was looking for in trailers. As he worked as a contractor and bought these trailers, he found that dealers boasted about the wonderful warranties their manufacturers had, but soon found out that not all of the dealers were able to do the necessary repairs in house when that warranty issue arose. He then hired a long-time friend and fabricator to take on the challenge of keeping the service department flowing. Eric also hired his brother, an electrician and power sports mechanic, part time to take on the electrical challenges that trailers are notorious for!

  Hence Riverside Trailers was born. This new dealership offers new and used trailer sales. New trailers consist of cargos, car haulers, utilities, dumps, deck overs, snowmobile trailers, equipment trailers, etc. There are trailer options in both steel and aluminum trailers on hand as well as the option to custom order trailers to your needs. Along with the new trailer sales, all of the warranty work is handled in house. Riverside “services what they sell”. The dealership is located on 7 acres of land on the North side of Rock Rapids, IA. On the property, there is a 7000 square foot repair facility that offers all types of trailer repair and service. The shop also has the ability to fabricate almost anything from scratch with its welders, press brake, metal shear, etc, and the know-how of its employees! Along with the service shop, Riverside has a parts department and showroom consisting of parts like brakes, bearings, receiver hitches, jacks, lights, etc. Riverside also offers RV repair!
